The statement said Minister of Defense Kim Kwan Jin called for "perfecting counteractions", remarks inciting a war, at a time when the situation was getting extremely tense due to the conservative organizations' announcement that it would scatter leaflets against the DPRK.

It also accused Lee Myung Bak of touring Yonphyong Island and making belligerent remarks against the DPRK while calling for "preserving the northern limit line".

It is doubtful whether the "government" and the ruling party have sanity when they gamble on the people's life for a war while getting frantic in their moves to fabricate "north wind" in a bid to take power again, the statement said.

It urged the present "government" and the ruling party to refrain from making belligerent remarks and making provocations for a war.
