Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Parks in the capital city of Pyongyang have taken on a new look thanks to devoted efforts of servicepersons. KCNA met Hong Kum Chol, an officer of the Korean People's Army, at Sanghung Children's Park. He said: "Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un entrusted service personnel with the task for face-lifting the parks in the city, in the wake of the projects of renovating the Mangyongdae and Taesongsan funfairs and improving Hapjang and Pothong rivers. True to his deep trust, we, servicepersons, worked hard day and night and finished renovating this part." Kim Ju Nam, an official of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, said: "The servicepersons sincerely helped spruce up several parks in the city while engaging in the project of improving the Pothong River. They dredged up the pond near the Changgwang Health Complex and gave a facelift to its surrounding area." |
