The mosaic portrays Kim Jong Suk, her face beaming with a broad smile, standing at the side of Lake Samji against the background of Mt. Paektu.

An unveiling ceremony took place on Thursday.

Present there were General Pak Jae Gyong of the Korean People's Army, teachers, students and employees of the university.

A floral basket in the name of the university was placed before the mosaic.

Ryo Chun Sok, president of the university, said that Kim Jong Suk's career is the one she dedicated her patriotic life to creating the history and tradition of devotedly protecting the leader and providing the eternal future of Korea blessed by the sun.

He called upon all the teachers, students and employees of the university to follow the noble example of Kim Jong Suk and devotedly defend the headquarters of the revolution.
