The house, whose total floor area was expanded nearly twice, consists of two stories and underground floor, decorated with colorful chandeliers.

In the house there are far infrared saunas, ordinary saunas, sauna rooms with wormwood mats and pillows made of buckwheat straw and family bath rooms.

It is also furnished with rooms for hair cutting and dressing, beauty parlors and welfare service facilities.

Its underground wading pool is equipped with ultrasonic waves and douche facilities and counters for service of various purposes.

The name of the bath house was proposed by President Kim Il Sung when he visited it under construction in the postwar period.

In his lifetime leader Kim Jong Il called for the reconstruction of the bath house.

The bath house is now crowded with people every day.
