Lee who professed "morally perfect and honest politics" and his son became the targets of investigation by the 60 odd-member special investigation team.

This fully reflects south Korean public grievances against Lee, kingpin of irregularities and corruption and root cause of all evils.

The Lee group has been thrown into a bottomless quagmire due to the continued disclosure of its scandals after being completely forsaken by the public for having pursued the policy of confrontation with the north and unpopular policies since its seizure of power.

The following is the comment of south Korean media: "A total of 50 persons have been appointed to minister-level posts through 16 cabinet reshuffles. 45 of them had been involved in such scams as real estate speculation, tax evasion, plagiarism in treatise writing, conscription evasion and disguised move to one place from another". "And the largest encyclopedia of scandals in history is being compiled by family members and relatives of President Lee and those in power."

Lee is the central figure in the hideous scandals that stunned the world.

It was disclosed already by media that Lee expropriated 800 billion won through the above-said housing plot purchase case and the fabrication of BBK stock price. When the restaurant opened by his wife in the U.S. with an investment of billions of dollars proved insolvent, she was reported to have secured its compensation with the budget of the present "government."

As facts prove, the Lee regime and his gentries have built a high pyramid of scandals centering around him and this is reminiscent of a huge exhibition hall of crimes.

It is quite natural that various circles of south Korea are pushing for a strict inquiry and punishment of Lee after labeling his regime "a regime of the worst thieves, not morally upright," "ditch-like regime" and "department store of scams."

The "Saenuri Party" passed without any hitch the "bill on the special investigation" introduced by an opposition party and this was adopted at the "session of the National Assembly." Then it pressurized Lee to approve of it by making "a bold decision." This glaringly shows the present miserable position of the traitor.

His American and Japanese masters now treat him no better than an outcast.

The traitors are fated to meet this miserable lot.

On Oct. 5 Lee, after being compelled to approve of the appointment of special investigators, invited to the remaining yes men of Chongwadae to a party to rev up his injured feeling.

At this wining and dining he was reported to have sung a song full of loneness and sorrow, deploring his miserable plight. This was a dirge he sang alone, with no one to sympathize with him even in case he breathes his last right now.
