They include the Solidarity for Progress of Taegu of North Kyongsang Province and the Headquarters of Taegu of North Kyongsang Province of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration.

The statement hit out at the authorities for staging the contentious exercises including a joint military drill with the U.S. troops at a time when the tensions run high and the situation is inching close towards the brink of a war on the Korean Peninsula.

The exercises are like adding oil to the fire, the statement said, criticizing them as ones threatening the peace.

It urged the Lee "government" not to find a way out of ruling crisis caused by its corruptions in increasing the military tensions.
