A lawmaker from the Democratic United Party affiliated with the Foreign Affairs, Trade and Unification Committee of the "National Assembly" said on Oct. 24 that the Ministry of Unification massively funded organizations under the Association for Promotion of Democracy of North Korea and other relevant organizations for nearly two years from 2011 under the pretext of the "cooperation for backing the civilian organization for reunification movement".

Bringing to light this fact, Kwon O Hon, honorary chairperson of the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy, noted that the ministry deserves denunciation from the people. Kwon described as a shocking event the conservative organizations' act of turning aside from the nation's independent and peaceful reunification and rendering help to the conservative organizations keen on conspiratorial and psychological warfare for stifling the DPRK.

The Lee's "government" is sure to be punished for having wire-pulled the conservative organizations in their acts of hamstringing the efforts for reunification, preoccupied by confrontation.
