The statement said:

The south Korean authorities have gone to extremes in their attempt to preserve the illegal "northern limit line" in the West Sea of Korea as the maritime demarcation line between the north and the south though it is the biggest hotspot between them.

The waters of the West Sea of Korea have turned into the biggest hotspot where it is hard to predict what will happen anytime due to the grave military provocations of the south Korean warmongers.

The south Korean chief executive's trip to the island is a denial of the October 4 declaration and a challenge to the aspiration and desire of all Koreans for peace, independent reunification and prosperity common to the nation.

We fully support the stand of the army and people of the DPRK that they are closely following the moves of the south Korean warmongers and fully ready to turn the West Sea into the sea of a reunified country in case they ignite a war under the pretext of the "northern limit line."
