Floral baskets and messages of greeting were sent to the dear respected Kim Jong Un and the Central Committee of the WPK by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and heads of party and state of various countries including the Lao president who is concurrently the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, chairman of the Mongolian People's Party and the national president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil.

Figures of various circles including the chairman and vice-chairman who is concurrently the international secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist－Leninist), chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh and the chairman of the Kuwait-DPRK Friendship Association paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK embassies in the relevant countries.

Works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un were published in booklet or posted on Internet homepages by political parties, institutions and organizations of different countries.

At least 350 events including meetings, seminars, lectures and round-table talks were held in more than 80 countries and regions. The sixth Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia exhibition was held with splendor in Hunchun, China.

Participants in colorful events held under the sponsorship of political parties and organizations of various countries praised the great persons of Mt. Paektu for the exploits performed in leading the party building.

The Russian paper Patriot, Cuban paper Granma, TV broadcasting service of Democratic Congo and other foreign media carried special write-ups or aired special programs illustrated with portraits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos of Kim Jong Un on his revolutionary activities.
