The statement disclosed that on Oct. 25 the Intelligence Service and the Security Investigation Group of the Seoul District Police Office forcibly searched the house and the office of Kwon O Hyok, representative of the Sovereign Broadcasting Service, on charge of violating the "Security Law".

It recalled that the broadcasting service has conducted its activities in order to set right the wrong understanding of history and defuse the danger of war prevailing in the Korean Peninsula, adding that such suppression is nothing but part of the coloring offensive launched by the authorities to tide over its ruling crisis.

The authorities took the above-said action against the broadcasting service calling for peace against war at a time when the extreme danger of war is prevailing in the peninsula due to the on-going Hoguk exercise. This clearly tells what they seek through this repressive campaign.

The statement demanded a prompt halt to the suppression of the broadcasting service.
