Officer Kim Kwan Ho who took the floor before the beginning of the meeting warmly congratulated war veterans who performed feats in the Fatherland Liberation War, adding that the significant meeting with war veterans was arranged under the deep care of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.

Participants put garlands around the necks of war veterans on the stage and presented bunches of flowers to them.

DPRK Hero Pak Chan Su, lecturer at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, said that Generalissimo Kim Il Sung came all the way to the forefront despite hail of bullets and shells, instilling faith in sure victory, teaching Juche-oriented war methods and showing loving care for the soldiers, adding that his exploits would shine forever.

DPRK Hero Kim Sung Un, lecturer at the museum who shot down the first enemy plane after the kick-off of the unique movement of aircraft hunting teams, said that the country for which he fought was like a mother who urged him to do something great for it and the motherland where a song of plowing was heard from fertile land and there was alma mater dear to him.

DPRK Heroes Kwon Sang Ho and Yu Ki Hang, lecturers at the museum, told stories about how bravely they fought, cherishing warm love for the country liberated by Kim Il Sung and burning hatred for the enemy.

DPRK Hero Jon Ku Kang, lecturer at the museum, said that the proud course covered by the heroic soldiers who brought about victory in the war is associated with shining feats performed by the women members of the Democratic Youth League (DYL). She impressively sang song "Yeppuni".

DPRK Hero Ji Yong Chun, lecturer at the museum who was chairman of the DYL of a company of the KPA, called upon all the participants in the meeting to follow the example set by officials of the DYL during the war and firmly build the primary organizations of the youth league of the companies of the KPA into an engine and feelers for advancing ranks.

War veterans called on the young soldiers of the revolution to devotedly protect Marshal Kim Jong Un and defend the socialist country as firm as an iron wall and sang song "To a Decisive Battle".
