Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- Khaleq Zaman Bhuiyan, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Party of Bangladesh, issued a statement on Oct. 26 condemning the reckless anti-DPRK confrontation moves of the south Korean puppet regime. He accused the south Korean chief executive of appearing on Yonphyong Island in the West Sea of Korea and recklessly crying out for preserving the "northern limit line" (nll) to the last till the country is unified. He branded the nll as a ghost line unilaterally drawn by the U.S. The nll has no ground under international law as it was drawn by the U.S. without any consultation with the DPRK, a party to the Korean armistice agreement. How to approach the nll at present serves as a yardstick showing whether one stands for peace and stability or confrontation and war. We express full support and solidarity with the army and people of the DPRK in their firm stand that the illegal nll can never be tolerated. |
