Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" who is chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said:

General secretary Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a single-minded politico-ideological power under the uplifted banner of Songun.

He made sure that all social polices including free education and medial care have been invariably enforced even in the period when the DPRK underwent economic difficulties due to the moves of the imperialist allied forces.

I can never forget the sunny smile of Kim Jong Il who devoted all his energy to improving the standard of people's living regarding it as his motto to believe in people as in Heaven.

Pascal Zouncheme, chief of the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism who is rector of Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin, noted that Kim Jong Il, who dedicated his whole life to the cause of independence of popular masses and accomplishment of socialism, will always live in the hearts of the world progressives.
