Reunification Champion Sentenced to Prison Term in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The Suwon District Court of south Korea at a trial held on Monday sentenced to a year and half in prison Yun Ki Jin, co-chairman of the Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea. The fascist authorities again took a legal action against Yun after his release from prison late in February of 2011, charging that an article and letters he wrote in prison were "enemy-benefiting ones". They had made desperate efforts to impose penalties upon him on charges of the violation of "praise and encouragement" provisions of the "Security Law" after forcing him to stand trial in May 2012. |
