The university associated with great feats of the three brilliant commanders of Mt. Paektu has been modernly built as required by the new century under the wise leadership of the WPK. It is training many talents in the fields of science and technology contributing to developing the country's economy.

Going round different places of the university, the premier said the university could train professors, doctors and talents taking the lead in pushing back the frontiers of latest science and technology thanks to the warm loving care of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

A consultative meeting was held. It discussed issues arising in intensifying scientific researches at the university and called on relevant units to sincerely help it.

Earlier, the premier made a field survey of the Taedonggang Battery Factory and parks now under construction in various parts of the city.

He learned about the modernization of the factory and discussed the issue of renewing the used batteries.

He encouraged soldiers who are face-lifting parks in Pyongyang in the spirit of "at one go" in hearty response to the order of Supreme Commander Marshal Kim Jong Un and discussed issues arising in park construction.
