On Oct. 29 Ryu dared to slander the social system in the DPRK, urging it to "make a bold decision to make a change" and "it is advisable to give priority to people's livelihood".

What Ryu uttered is nothing but jargons made by a servant of Lee.

However, his remarks cannot be overlooked as they dared defame the social system in the DPRK.

As it is well known to the world, the DPRK chose independence, Songun and socialism as the ever-lasting strategy of the revolution and has protected the people's happiness and peace and prosperity for the posterity.

Such human scum as Ryu can hardly see this as he is busy with acts of treachery and moves to escalate confrontation.

As for Ryu U Ik, he has long taken the lead in inciting division and confrontation as a "loyal" servant of Lee.

From the Autumn of 2006, he made some "contributions" to Lee's seizure of power by working out "election" commitments such as "a pledge to build a big canal on the peninsula" as a speech writer.

It is by no means fortuitous that his remarks are nothing different from Lee's in inciting confrontation and division after he was appointed as minister of Unification.

Early this year when Lee said the south "opened its door of dialogue to the north", Ryu uttered he "hoped the north would make a good choice", advocating the "opening of a channel for dialogue" and "start of unlimited discussion."

Ryu conceived the enforcement of such anti-reunification education as "the highest course of unification policy" involving supporters of Lee.

He also led the ministry of Unification to openly intervene in the abduction of fellow countrymen under the signboard of "exchange of separated families through a third country".

The absurd and deceptive "jar for unification" advocated by Lee which different circles of south Korea brand as a jar for division and confrontation is also a brainchild of Ryu.

All these facts go to prove that the collapse of the north-south relations after Lee's seizure of power is attributable to the vicious and crafty plots of Ryu and others, old hands at gimmicks.

It is quite natural for south Koreans of different social strata to brand the ministry of Unification as an anti-reunification one that seeks division and plots and strongly call for punishment of the Lee regime.

As shown by the enraged south Koreans, what should be changed is the failed politics of south Korea.

Ryu U Ik would be well advised to properly know about the miserable position of Lee more dead than alive and shut up.
