Abolition of SL Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Kwon O Hon, honorary chairman of the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy, called for the abolition of the "Security Law", said the south Korean internet paper Jaju Minbo on Monday.

Kwon said on Oct. 25 that an international body urged the south Korean authorities again to abolish the fascist law, noted the paper, adding:

Kwon criticized the SL as the worst one denounced by the international community.

He said the south Korean "government" labeled the north as "an anti-state organization" and used the SL as a means for carrying out its confrontation policy. He urged the abolition of the law.
