Published at the presentation of the metal and tool materials field with more than 90 scientific and research achievements made by scientific and educational institutions and production enterprises in the development and application of metal and functional materials, compound materials, high-speed steel, hard alloy and ultra hard tool materials.

Appreciated there were papers presented by teachers and researchers of the Physics Faculty of Kim Il Sung University, the Material Engineering Faculty of Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Material Engineering Faculty of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering and the Ferrous Metal Institute of the State Academy of Sciences.

Attending the presentation of the electronics engineering field were scientists, technicians, teachers and graduate students in the field. Presented to it were at least 70 achievements.

Drawing the attention of the participants were papers which are of significance in putting the national economy on an IT basis and improving the standard of people's living including some issues arising in studying and developing compound semi-conductor solar cell, designing and manufacturing electric source device of mid-frequency induction furnace and forming structure of silicon field emission and arrangement body.

Teachers, researchers and graduate students who proved successful were awarded certificates and relevant prizes at the presentations.
