On Oct. 30, the 3rd Corps of the south Korean army perpetrated a shelling exercise in Sohwa-myon, Rinje County of south Korean Kangwon Province.

The warmongers fired shells, claiming that the drill is to gather information about the north's preparedness for firing and launch preemptive attack on it, thus escalating confrontation.

The reckless war moves clearly indicate the attempt of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces for preemptive attack on the DPRK and the provocative nature of their Hoguk exercise.
