U.S.-S. Korea War Maneuvers Censured by Overseas Koreans' Organizations
Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Overseas Koreans' organizations issued statements in protest against the DPRK-targeted war maneuvers staged by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean warmongers.

The Federation of Korean Youth in China in a statement on Tuesday accused the south Korean Lee Myung Bak regime of having staged Hoguk military exercise in accordance with a scenario calibrated by the U.S.

The exercise involved drills for such different purposes as surprise invasion including landing and air strike on regions of the DPRK.

The large-scale war maneuvers are an intolerable challenge to the Korean nation and the international community desirous of peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and deliberate military provocations for a new war, said the statement.

It declared that all young Koreans in China would wage a strenuous struggle against the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime and advance dynamically toward a final victory.

The Central Association of Korean Nationals in Russia in a statement on Monday said the south Korean puppet forces described the military drills as annual ones but it is as clear as a pikestaff that they are very dangerous nuclear war exercises aimed at mounting a sudden preemptive attack on the DPRK in the light of their contents, nature and scale.

The south Korean regime is sadly mistaken if it calculated it could divert elsewhere the attention of the south Korean public, turn the uncertain situation favorable to the conservative forces and help Lee Myung Bak more dead than alive prolong his remaining days through the saber-rattling, it noted.

The United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan in a statement on Tuesday denounced the Hoguk military exercise for posing a threat to peace on the peninsula and increasing the danger of a nuclear war.
