The predecessor of the Park Chung Hee-Ryuk Yong Su Foundation was the Pusan Daily Foundation, the statement says, and goes on:

The Pusan Daily Foundation was established in November 1958 by south Korean businessman Kim Ji Thae with an aim to provide the students in Pusan area with scholarship.

When Park Chung Hee requested him to fund the May 16 military coup in March 1961 while making preparation for it, Kim Ji Thae categorically declined. He did not accept Park's request even though traitor Park came to his home and begged for help.

When Park launched the military coup, Kim denounced it through Pusan Daily and demanded the abolition of the military dictatorship and the realization of democracy.

Regarding him as a thorn in the flesh, Park published "guidelines for handling illicit fortune makers" at the "supreme council for state reconstruction" in May 1961 and buckled down to seizing properties of more than 20 alleged illicit fortune makers including Kim Ji Thae.

Early in January 1962 Park instructed the chief of the Pusan Branch of the puppet Central Intelligence Agency to investigate Kim Ji Thae who took approach of no cooperation to the military coup.

The Central Intelligence Agency thus began investigation into his illicit accumulation of wealth on charges of violation of 9 items. It also arrested his wife Song Hye Yong on the suspicion of involvement in smuggling to let him, who was receiving medical treatment in Japan, come back to south Korea. Upon his return to south Korea on April 20 upon the news, they walked him away at Kimpho Airport and put him into custody in Pusan Prison.

Traitor Park prodded the then martial law commander in charge of Pusan area and the then puppet Justice minister to make Kim Ji Thae agree on the handover of the ownership of the Pusan Daily Foundation, Pusan Daily, MBC and Pusan Munhwa Broadcasting Service on condition of his release.

As Kim Ji Thae strongly opposed it, the group of traitors sentenced him to 7 years in prison and forced him to give up his properties in May 1962. In June the group carried him to a law officer's room in the puppet army munitions base command in Pusan and threatened him with a gun.

Under the pressure of Park and his clan, Kim Ji Thae with his hands bound was forced to sign the document of relinquishing his properties such as the right to operation of the Pusan Daily Foundation, all the stocks of Pusan Daily, MBC, Pusan Munhwa Broadcasting Service and 100 147 phyong of land in Somyon area in Pusan City and the document agreeing on their donation.

Park made the Pusan Daily Foundation his own and let his family members and close confidants control it.

All the funds to the Park Chung Hee-Ryuk Yong Su Foundation were used for the luxurious life of Park's family and relatives and improving the image of the traitor.

Park Geun Hye received the yearly rewards equivalent to 250 million won from the Foundation for 10 years when she worked as its managing director. This was nearly half of all the rewards returned to the employees of the foundation.

After quitting her post as the managing director, she continued to use the car which the Foundation purchased as one for the private use by the managing director.

The Foundation has taken the lead in praising Park Chung Hee's "yusin" dictatorship. It set up the Park Chung Hee-Ryuk Yong Su Memorial and Park-Su Cultural and Art Theater and funded the building of memorial, photo and art exhibition and book-releasing organized by the "yusin" remnants.

It even formed the organization called the Chongo Society with students on scholarship by the Foundation and has used the scholarship as a means for making students respect Park.

The Foundation actively pushed Park Geun Hye to the political scene and has constantly provided her with political funds and even laid a political foundation for her with the scholarship as leverage.

Pusan Daily and MBC have built up public opinion to create atmosphere favorable for Park Geun Hye at every election time.

The Foundation's recent announcement that it would sell 100 percent of the stocks of Pusan Daily and 30 percent of MBC is just a red herring to win the people's mindset with money in the face of increasing repugnance toward the "Saenuri Party" in the areas of Pusan and South Kyongsang Province.

This being a hard fact, the "yusin" descendent is claiming that "the foundation has nothing to do with her as she long left it" and "the foundation is a pure foundation with no involvement in any political activities". This is a brazen-faced act of killing the victim once again, mocking at the public and distorting history.
