Japan Accused of Denying Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army
Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- A few days ago, Japanese Professor Yoshimi, an expert on the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, demanded Mayor of Osaka Hashimoto retract his statement in which he denied the army's involvement in the sexual slavery and the coercion employed for it and make an apology for it.

A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry declared that the Japanese side should properly face up to history, seriously reflect on its past crimes and approach the international community with a responsible attitude in response to Japanese Prime Minister Noda's claim in August last that there is lack of evidence proving the coercion involved in the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

Minju Joson Wednesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

What the Japanese professor said mirrors curse and condemnation voiced by justice and human conscience against the Japanese reactionaries' unjust behavior distorting and denying history.

The sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army has already been brought to light by historical data and testimonies.

Those going under the masks of politicians in Japan are now taking the lead in twisting historical facts.

What matters is that Japan is now becoming evermore undisguised in its moves to turn society to the Right.

The Japanese reactionaries felt the need to distort and embellish its crime-woven history, prompted by their purpose to instill the pride of Japan's history of militarism into their younger generation and encourage them to advance along the road of militaristic expansion overseas again.

They are, however, seriously mistaken.

The crime-woven history can never be concealed, no matter how desperately the Japanese reactionaries may work.

What remains to be done by Japan is to make sincere apology and reparation for its past crimes.
