From ten odd years ago leader Kim Jong Il had taken measures for the creation of a section specializing in treating breast cancer in the maternity and for the successful treatment and research of the disease.

In November last year he stressed the need to build a modern breast cancer research center and personally examined its blueprint.

Marshal Kim Jong Un indicated the orientation and ways for construction of the center and wisely led the work.

A few days ago, he visited the newly built center and expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the center is perfect in every aspect. Learning about the cultural and entertainment life of patients, he showed such deep care as making sure that sick rooms were provided with liquid crystal TV sets and refrigerators.

The gifts-conveying ceremony took place on Tuesday.

Present there were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jin Ha, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and employees of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital.
