Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- Functional architectural paint was developed recently by the Mirae Industrial Technology Institute under Kim Chaek University of Technology in the DPRK. Applicable to walls and roofs, the paint radiates in the air anion, good for health and environment. Choe Song Il, director of the institute, told KCNA: "The institute succeeded in developing the paint with a mineral available in the country as raw materials. The impalpably powdered mineral was mixed with nano materials as supplements to make anion additives. The medium was taken by applying inorganic-organic compound technology. The paint, which accords with the international standard indices, is not easily discolored. Its resistance to ultraviolet rays is 1.3 times higher than other kinds of architectural paints." |
