Rodong Sinmun Thursday says this in a bylined article, adding:

National reunification is a crucial issue decisive of the rise and fall of the nation.

Nobody can say he or she has creditably fulfilled the responsibility and duty before the country. Nation, history and posterity before achieving national reunification.

It is the urgent requirement of the prevailing situation to intensify and develop the movement for national reunification.

The anti-reunification forces in south Korea are becoming extremely desperate in their moves to put a spoke in the wheel of the visits, contacts, dialogue and cooperation between the pro-reunification movement bodies in the north and the south of Korea and stamp out the movement for national reunification.

What is worse is that the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors is tightening the political and military cooperation with the U.S. and kicking up a noisier racket for confrontation with the DPRK, trumpeting about the non-existent "provocations from the north".

The reckless political and military provocations of outside forces and south Korean group of traitors in conspiracy with them are throwing a stumbling block in the way of the movement.

The article calls on all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad to wage a strenuous nation-wide struggle to foil the vicious moves of the anti-reunification forces keen on flunkeyism, treachery and confrontation with the DPRK, quelling their ardent desire for independent reunification.
