Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- The Art and Literature Publishing House of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has recently brought out new full-length novels. Among them are "Electric Light" and "Song of My Home Village". "Electric Light" is based on a story about the working attitude and style of officials at a provincial power distribution station, including the chief engineer, with the spirit of fortitude, ambitious operation and executive ability in laying transmission lines for tideland reclamation on the West Sea of Korea. In the novel, the chief engineer represents an official the present-day era requires. "Song of My Home Village" is based on a story dealing with young people of a farm who devote themselves to building their village into a socialist fairyland in the Songun (military-first) era. The publishing house also released a collection of songs "Wish" and other books. |
