Revival of Fascist Dictatorship Is Absolutely Intolerable: Rodong Sinmun
|

Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- It is impossible to realize the desire of the south Korean people for social progress, reform, democracy and national reunification as long as the "Saenuri Party" keen to revive "yusin" dictatorship is allowed to go on reckless. Rodong Sinmun Saturday says this in a bylined article. Disclosing the crimes committed by the "yusin" dictatorial regime ill-famed for treachery, fascist dictatorship and north-south confrontation, the article goes on: Park Chung-Hee, "yusin" dictator, pursued a harsh repressive policy as soon as he seized power, backed by the U.S., mercilessly suppressing democratic freedom and rights of the south Korean people. He concluded a lot of humiliating and country-selling "treaties and agreements" with the U.S., turning south Korea into a colony of the U.S. It was none other than the "yusin" dictator who unhesitatingly signed the south Korea-Japan agreement which calls for selling off the dignity and interests of the nation for a petty amount of money. He agreed on the three principles of national reunification and signed the July 4 joint statement. But, he denied it, frantically pursuing the moves to cook up "two Koreas". Finally, he ordered the construction of a concrete wall along the entire length of the military demarcation line dividing Korea into two parts. He offered south Korea to the U.S. as its permanent military base and granted the U.S. forces in south Korea extraterritorial rights. On this basis, he ran amuck in making preparations for a war against the north to do harm to fellow countrymen there in collusion with the U.S. Despite the full disclosure of the crimes committed by the "yusin" dictatorship, the gentries of the "Saenuri Party" are now embellishing the dictatorship overtly and covertly. In case such forces protecting dictatorship gain the upper hand, this will only result in the revival of the fascist dictatorship, escalated inter-Korean confrontation and increased danger of war. |
