An inaugural ceremony was sponsored by the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in Nakhodka.

Its participants laid a floral basket before a full-length painting of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il before paying tribute to them.

The committee decided to organize diverse events including remembrance meeting, seminar and lecture in the Maritime Territorial Region and other areas of the Far Eastern region on the occasion of the first anniversary of the passing of Kim Jong Il.

A committee for remembering Kim Jong Il was inaugurated in Poland on Nov. 6.

The chairmanship went to Slaboy January Guzowski.

The committee decided to organize seminars on exploits, remembrance meeting, lecture, film show and other diverse events for introducing the exploits of Kim Jong Il, the revolutionary activities of the dear respected Kim Jong Un and the successes made by the army and people of the DPRK in building a thriving nation on the occasion of the first anniversary of the passing of Kim Jong Il.
