V. V. Grishkov, first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, spoke highly of Kim Jong Il for his feats performed for the human cause of independence and the international labor movement and his noble traits.

As the first anniversary of the passing of Kim Jong Il draws near, people miss him very much as he dedicated all his life to the Korean revolution and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence with ardent patriotism and in the strong spirit of defending socialism, said Grishkov, adding:

Kim Jong Il was a great leader of all the communist party members and adherents to socialism in Russia and other progressives of the world.

We will invariably cherish the sense of obligation towards Kim Jong Il and wage a more dynamic struggle for rebuilding socialism.

We will always extend full support and solidarity to the fraternal Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving socialist nation and reunify the country.

Slaboy January Guzowski, chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association, recalled that Kim Jong Il took the road of devoted service to the country and its people all his life.
