More Historical Relics Discovered in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- Archaeologists of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have recently discovered more historical relics. Found out in Richon-ri, Sungho County, North Hwanghae Province, were two ruined houses, believed to date back to the Neolithic age, and three ruined houses of the Bronze age. The relics unearthed there include earthenware, pots, stone axes and arrowheads. Also discovered in Honam-ri, Samsok District, Pyongyang, were two sites of houses and relics dating back to the Neolithic age and in Raknang District more than 20 ancient tombs including brick tomb, log tomb, wooden-box tomb and earthen jar tomb. The new discoveries serve as valuable data in studying the culture of society in those days. |
