He turned the DPRK into a political and ideological power in which all the people are united in one mind under his Songun leadership.

In the closing years of the last century, he saw to it that the socialist policies were pursued even in the period when the country was undergoing hard economic ordeals due to the blockade of the imperialists. This helped all the people keep in their minds the firm faith in socialism.

He devoted himself to improving the standard of the people's living.

The history knows no such a man who demised in the middle of a journey for the field guidance for the happiness of the people.

The paper said that the drive for building a thriving nation is going in the DPRK and the great heyday is being ushered in all fields including the economy and culture.
