Minju Joson Exposes Hypocritical Colors of Park Geun Hye

Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- Park Geun Hye, "presidential" candidate from the south Korean "Saenuri Party", on Nov. 5 announced her commitments to diplomacy, security and unification policies the keynote of which are "sustainable peace", "trustworthy diplomacy" and "happy unification". Minju Joson Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard: In her commitments to unification policy Park made no mention of the issue of implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. She, shunning the issue of implementing the north-south joint declarations, let loose a string of balderdash that she would carry forward the "unification proposal for national community based on the order of liberal democracy" which was raised by the preceding dictators. Worse still, she underlined the need to bolster "force" to "render ineffective provocations of the north" and intensify the alliance with the U.S., while crying out for the "preservation of the illegal northern limit line". She went the lengths of raising the nuclear issue as a precondition for improving the north-south relations, blaring that the "north's nuclear is intolerable". In a word, her commitments are ones to confrontation with fellow countrymen and war which surpass by far traitor Lee Myung Bak's policy toward the north. She called for "keeping a distance" with Lee from the end of last year. From mid-August when she was confirmed as the "presidential" candidate from the "Saenuri Party" she kept saying it is necessary to preserve in the main the July 4 south-north joint statement, south-north basic agreement and June 15 south-north joint declaration and it is needless to call for building trust with new promise while not preserving the previous ones in a bid to convince the public that she would do something to improve the north-south relations. But in her commitments to "happy unification" she put forward the policy for confrontation which puts Lee into the shade. Her commitments predict that if the "Saenuri Party" takes office, it will intensify the rackets for confrontation with fellow countrymen and, accordingly, render the north-south relations further deteriorated. |
