Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korea's Anti-DPRK "Human Rights" Racket

Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- Recently the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors in south Korea made coarse invectives against the dignified social system of the DPRK with a whopping lie on the UN rostrum. Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday observes in this regard in a bylined commentary: The Lee Myung Bak group talked big about the "human rights" in the DPRK here and there. But it, in fact, suffers from uneasiness for its hideous human rights abuses. The recent 2nd Circle of the Universal Periodic Review at the UN adopted a decision in which it advised the south Korean authorities to abolish the evil "Security Law". However, turning a deaf ear to the demand of the Korean nation and the international community, the Lee group has kicked up the "human rights" racket against its fellow countrymen. The ulterior intention is to calm down the south Koreans and the international community demanding for the abrogation of the "Security Law" and divert elsewhere the public criticism. Its major aim is to raise the wind of confrontation with the fellow countrymen. The Lee group recently staged the largest-ever war drill Hoguk under the pretext of coping with the DPRK's "provocation" and staged the racket of scattering anti-DPRK leaflets. But they are being condemned and denounced by the every circle of society for their fabrication of the "north wind" with the "presidential election" at hand. Driven into the corner, they are making desperate efforts to realize their black-hearted aim at any cost by escalating confrontation with the DPRK while again publicizing the strategic "human rights" issue in it. But their efforts are useless and will only hasten their ruin. |
