Koreans in U.S. Call for Implementing North-South Declarations

| Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- Koreans in the U.S. held meetings in New York, Washington and Los Angeles on Nov. 2, 5 and 9 at which they called for thoroughly implementing the north-south joint declarations. At the meetings speakers said that the supreme task facing the Korean nation is to achieve independence, democracy and reunification and to this end it is necessary to preserve and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration without fail. They called upon all compatriots to get firmly united to realize their desire for reunification. They underlined the need to eliminate those shunning national reunification and enforce new politics in south Korea, in particular. |
