This work clarifies the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of popularizing the activities of literature and arts and the principle to be abided by stringers in creating works and their tasks.

A meeting to mark the anniversary took place at the Grand People's Study House Wednesday.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, creators, stringers and teachers and students in Pyongyang.

Sin Yong Son, chairman of the C.C., the Writers Union of Korea, made a report.

The reporter said that thanks to the establishment of a well-regulated system guiding the creation of mass literature in a unified manner throughout the country great successes have been made over the last three decades.

He said that they created many literary works including novels, poems, juvenile literature and scenarios.

The reporter called for bringing about a fresh surge in creating mass literature.
