It is bounden duty and patriotic work for the mothers and women in the DPRK to give birth to many sons and daughters and bring them up to be reliable pillars.

Mothers devote themselves to their children, taking all sorts of hardships they have to undergo for their sake as their happiness. Enshrined in their hearts are warm love for the younger generation and optimism about the morrow of a prosperous country. It is under their care that their children learn such warm patriotism as taking care of every tree and every blade of grass of the country and cultivate such loyalty as upholding the leader with pure conscience and strong sense of obligation.

Mothers in the DPRK are behind the sound, dynamic, cheerful and enthusiastic eight million school youth and children.

They are playing an important role in the drive for building a thriving nation with their warm patriotism. Their feats are associated with the efforts to bolster up the combat capability of the Korean People's Army demonstrating its invincible might, a high-pitched drive for pushing back the frontiers of science and technology and merits of the honorable workers who have fulfilled their yearly plans.

Among them are those who serve as road administrators and shoes repairers and turn remote mountains into thick woodland with her husband all their life with the thought that they would be pleased if their services would provide any help to the country. This is their patriotic desire as shining as jewel.

It is the traits peculiar to mothers and women of the DPRK to show sincerity to the comrades, regarding them as their kith and kin and to the collective, considering it as their families. Their joy and dedication serve as the might of the collective and food for vim and vigor of society.
