Present there were personages of different social standings and members of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and organizations for the study of the Juche idea in Ukraine.

The chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize diverse events including remembrance meeting, seminar on exploits and lecture and widely introduce the noble life and revolutionary exploits of the peerlessly great man through media in the run-up to the 1st anniversary of the demise of Kim Jong Il.
