The clan of the "Saenuri Party" is persistently pursuing north-south confrontation and a war against the north quite contrary to the desire and wishes of the nation for peace and reunification, the article says, and goes on:

All Koreans know very well how desperately the "Saenuri Party" has worked to bedevil the inter-Korean relations and ignite a new war, being extremely hostile to the fellow countrymen in the north over the past five years. This party is now working hard to have "a law on human rights in the north" adopted at the "National Assembly," a law aimed to rattle nerves of the DPRK and groundlessly slander it. It is beyond any doubt that the adoption of such law would push the tense north-south relations to the brink of war.

The clan's act of prodding ultra-right conservative organizations into operations to scatter anti-DPRK leaflets is nothing but a deliberate scenario to spark off armed conflict between the north and the south. They are now blinded with moves to escalate confrontation and ignite a war. Their warlike nature is clearly proved by the outbursts let loose by them every day that it is necessary to "resolutely counter any attempt to liquidate the 'northern limit line,'" frequently crying out for its defence.

It is needless to say what unbearable misfortune the south Koreans will have to suffer in case the group of traitors stays in power, because this group is going wild in its moves to ignite a war against the north in collusion with outside forces.

One may say the south Korean people are now standing at the crossroads of peaceful and stable life or disaster.

A group of warmongers are making desperate efforts to stay in power, keen on confrontation and war against peace. This tragic reality requires the south Korean people to be awakened.
