Patrice Trovoada, prime minister of Sao Tome and Principe, said this when receiving DPRK Ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe Kwak Ji Hwan who paid a courtesy visit to him on November 7.

The prime minister said that the friendly relations of the two countries are long-standing.

The prime minister asked the ambassador to convey his regards to Kim Jong Un, sincerely wishing him great success in his noble work to steer the Korean people.

The government and people of the DPRK are working hard to build a thriving nation and reunify the country, he noted, adding that the issue of Korea's reunification should be achieved by the nation itself free from any foreign interference.

He reiterated his will to boost the relations of economic cooperation with the DPRK.
