The situation on the peninsula is now becoming more and more strained due to the evermore undisguised moves for aggression and war by the U.S.

The U.S. warmongers are seeking to invade the DPRK with south Korea as a military stronghold and a springboard. Their aim is to control the neighboring countries of the DPRK and put Northeast Asia under their military control.

If the Korean Peninsula is not peaceful, Asia and the rest of the world will never be peaceful.

To keep the peace on the peninsula after removing the danger of war from it is to provide an important condition for achieving the peace in Asia and the world.

To put an end to the state of ceasefire between the DPRK and the U.S. at an early date and establish the system of ensuring the lasting peace is the most urgent task in preventing war and achieving the peace and stability in the peninsula.

If the U.S. is to fulfill its responsibility for ensuring the peace on the peninsula, it must withdraw its troops from south Korea.

It is also one of the important conditions for the U.S. to halt its moves of building military bases in Japan and south Korea and withdraw its forces of aggression from the Asia-Pacific region.

If the U.S. does not incite Japan and south Korean puppet forces to the war moves against the DPRK and if it withdraws its huge forces from the Asia-Pacific region, the peninsula will be freed from the danger of war and conditions favorable for peace provided.

That the U.S. persistently pursues its hostile policy towards the DPRK while finding fault with its measures for beefing up war deterrence is a revelation of its vicious trick for aggression and domination.

If the U.S. abandons its hostile policy towards the DPRK, the nuclear issue of the peninsula will be settled.

The DPRK will exert efforts to check and foil the U.S. offensive to stifle the DPRK and achieve the peace on the peninsula through the unity with peace-loving forces around the world, and to ensure the peace of Asia and the world.
