Minju Joson Ridicules Lee Myung Bak's Criticism of DPRK's Human Rights

Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- Traitor Lee Myung Bak of south Korea in his recent trip to Southeast Asian countries expressed "concerns over the human rights situation in the north", saying "human rights and freedom should not be compromised". A bylined commentary of DPRK's major paper Minju Joson Thursday says in this regard: The traitor, who long lost any justification to talk about human rights, found fault with the human rights performance in the DPRK even during his trip to foreign countries. There is no remedy for the traitor's hysteria for confrontation with fellow countrymen. Disclosing human rights abuses committed by Lee Myung Bak, the commentary goes on: Advocating "trend of freedom", Lee blustered "it is a matter of time that democratic system takes shape in all the countries around the world". It unveiled his black-hearted intention to instill the "trend of freedom" into the people of the DPRK and induce it to "make a change in its social system". Lee's such sinister intention finds its vivid expression in the recent attempted scattering of anti-DPRK leaflets by human scum at his instigation. The above facts go to prove that as long as Lee engrossed in confrontation with fellow countrymen is allowed to stay in power, it will be impossible to mend the north-south relations nor will it be possible for the south Korean people to take back their violated rights. Lee's frantic confrontation with his countrymen will bring only self-destruction. Before talking about someone's "human rights", Lee should worry about the fate reserved for him for having reduced south Korea to a barren land of human rights and plunged the north-south relations to a complete deadlock with confrontational moves. |
