Demand for LED Lamps Grows in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The demand for LED lamps, known as green light, is growing in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Monumental edifices, public service establishments and streets in Pyongyang, Nampho, Wonsan and other cities of the country have been installed with those lamps of various colors. LED lamp is of weighty significance in providing better living environment and easing the strain on supply of electricity. So, the demand for this lamp increases with each passing day. The exhibition of LED lamps in Thongil Street of Pyongyang is daily crowded with visitors who want to purchase those lamps. On display there are LED lamps of diverse shapes developed by the Institute of Electronic Goods of the Ministry of Electronics Industry, including overhead light, wall lamp, street lamp and floodlight. Towns and villages of the country will be dressed-up spectacularly with bright lights in the near future. |
