A stumbling block is lying in the way of national reunification owing to the anti-reunification moves of the Lee Myung Bak group, lackeys of outside forces. This situation once again reminds the people of this historical lesson.

The successive pro-U.S. conservative forces of south Korea who do not have even an iota of consciousness of national independence have worked with bloodshot eyes to maintain their traitorous ruling system and perpetuate the national division under the patronage of the U.S.

Their moves against the nation and reunification have reached an extreme phase since traitor Lee Myung Bak came to power.

The Lee group steeped in flunkeyism towards the U.S. to the marrow of its bones has unhesitatingly and recklessly worked as a shock brigade for implementing its American master's aggressive policy towards the DPRK while considering the strengthening of the "alliance" with the U.S. as a top priority.

The precious gains achieved by the Korean nation in the June 15 era of reunification through its patriotic devotion and enthusiasm have been trampled down and the north-south relations brought to the lowest ebb due to the group's moves to escalate the confrontation with fellow countrymen.

The Korean nation remains divided though nearly seven decades have passed since its split. This is because such heinous traitors as Lee seized power and have pursued division and confrontation with fellow countrymen in collusion with outside forces.

The present situation urgently calls for launching a brave and dynamic struggle for eliminating those traitors.
