Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a bylined article:

The most flagrant crime committed by the group against the national reunification was that it ran riot refusing to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and denying them.

The group made no scruple of driving the inter-Korean relations devoid of dialogue and cooperation to the war phase in cooperation with foreign forces.

After traitor Lee came to power, the south Korean military declared that it would mount a "preemptive attack on the north", and staged joint military drills together with the U.S. in a more adventurous and big way in order to preemptively strike at the DPRK.

It massed a great number of up-to-date offensive weaponry and war hardware while sharply increasing the military expenditure on an annual basis.

The Lee group derailed the dialogue and cooperation in league with outside forces, and was keen on unleashing a war to invade the DPRK while going reckless in the move to realize the plot of "unification of social systems". This pushed the inter-Korean ties to the lowest ebb and the Korean Peninsula to the touch-and-go situation on the verge of a nuclear war.

The traitor Lee is now paying a dear price for what he did over the last five years backed by outsiders.

The traitor's "policy towards the north" has come under condemnation by the south Koreans from all walks of life.

Those traitors to the nation deserve such treatment as they pursued the confrontation and war in collaboration with outsiders going against the tide of improving the inter-Korean relations.

It is the demand of the times for them to opt for warming the inter-Korean ties by ending the anachronistic confrontation policy and respecting and implementing the above-said declarations.

The anti-reunification forces can never win the support of the people as they run counter to the tide of mending the inter-Korean ties and ensuring peace.
