Mansugyo Soft Drink Restaurant
Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Mansugyo Soft Drink Restaurant, rebuilt on the picturesque bank of the River Pothong in Pyongyang, is nowadays crowded with people despite cold weather.

The restaurant serves yeast bread, bread stuffed with vegetables, sandwich, hamburger, hotdog, beer, eskimo, etc. Most popular among them is beer brewed with barley and rice.

The exterior and interior of the restaurant remind one of lotus floating on the river. Its balconies also have dining tables so that customers can command a bird's-eye view of the scenery of the River Pothong.

This restaurant is associated with warm love of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the people.

In the early 1970's President Kim Il Sung suggested building a soft drink restaurant on the bank of the River Pothong and he and leader Kim Jong Il visited the newly-built restaurant in April Juche 63 (1974), giving precious teachings on its operation.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un, who inherited the Generalissimos' idea of believing in the people as in Heaven, saw to it that servicepersons turned the restaurant into a peculiar catering service base.
