S. Korean Conservatives Denounced for Talking about "North's Interference in Presidential Election"

Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean conservative group is vociferating about the "north's interference in presidential election" with the approach of the election in south Korea. The story about the "north's interference" is a sheer lie aimed to deceive and mock at the south Korean people, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a bylined commentary. The commentary goes on: The DPRK is not concerned about who becomes "president" in south Korea. But what is intolerable is the fact that the south Korean ruling quarters hurt the north-south relations and mock at the destiny of the nation while standing against the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. What the DPRK is concerned about is not who will be the "president-elect" but whether he or she intends to improve the inter-Korean ties. This is the deserved right of the DPRK as the main force responsible for the north-south relations. To describe it as "interference" is a false charge of persecution maniacs. Moreover, the south Korean group of conservatives tries to attain its sinister intention while provoking the DPRK with the upcoming election as a momentum, in particular. Under this situation, no one can find fault with the DPRK's clarification of its opinion. The group's loud talk about the "north's interference in presidential election" is a height of impudence reminding one of a thief crying "stop the thief!" They should stop at once their desperate anti-DPRK confrontation moves before vociferating about the "north's interference". The conservatives' moves of plotting against the fellow countrymen will result in pricking their own eyes. |
