Present there were officials, scientists, technicians, teachers and researchers of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Institute of Mathematics of the State Academy of Sciences, Central Information Communications Centre and other units.

It was divided into panels of educational information, scientific and technological information, computer technology and information communications.

More than 540 papers were made public at the presentation.

There was introduction of successes and experience gained in the work for rapidly developing information technology including information service, information maths, computer network system, information communications and security technology.

Drawing attention of the participants were papers on reasonable composition of education information system and technology for realizing it, information service supporting system, fuzzy maths for modeling of information system, computer hardware and embedding hardware design, space communications and satellite communications.

Software of designing different kinds of games, achievements in cognizing multimedia and technology of using it and others were highly appreciated as materials conducive to improving software development and application ability.

During the days lectures on the trend of developing information science and technology were given.
