Vice Marshal of the KPA Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, made a speech at the banquet.

He said Generalissimo Kim Il Sung made sure that the first flying corps was established in new Korea shortly after its liberation, opened up a new history of building air forces and thus performed eternal exploits in the history of founding Juche-oriented army.

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il worked heart and soul to develop the Air and Anti-air Forces of the KPA into the elite air forces as required by the developing situation, upholding the idea of Kim Il Sung on founding the army, he noted, adding:

The Air and Anti-air Forces of the KPA Generalissimos developed by devoting their whole life have greeted their heyday as they hold high the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in high esteem as Supreme Commander of the KPA.

The speaker stressed the need for all the service personnel of the Air and Anti-air Forces to cherish the love and trust shown by the dear respected Supreme Commander and prepare themselves to be powerful death-defying corps in the sky defending the party and leader.
