The naval base construction which has been persistently pushed forward by the puppet regime is a very dangerous action against the nation to turn Jeju Island into an advanced base for a nuclear war and realize the U.S. ambition for world domination and increase the military tension and war danger on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia.

The "Saenuri Party" unilaterally muscled the budget through the meeting in the absence of the lawmakers from the opposition parties who have called for full slice of the 2013 budget for the construction.

That day the lawmakers of the Defence Committee of the "National Assembly" from the Democratic United Party protested against the "Saenuri Party's" railroading of the budget and declared it totally invalid.
