Present there were officials, scientists, technicians, teachers and researchers in scientific and educational units including Kim Il Sung University, the Pomological Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science and in the field of agriculture including agronomy, stockbreeding, fruit farming and silk raising.

There took place panel presentation of scientific and technological papers in the fields of agricultural production, stockbreeding, fruit farming and silk raising. Published there were 280 papers of practical significance.

The participants exchanged achievements and experiences gained in increasing the agricultural production and settling the fodder issue for domestic animals with the use of the rotation production system and in introducing organic farming method including the production and use of organic fertilizer and organic agricultural chemicals.

What drew the attention of the participants were technological lecture on scientific and technological issues arising in the work of establishing the cyclic production system and experience gained by those units which took lead in it.

Speakers introduced the successes made by their units ensuring big profitability in the production of grain and meat thanks to the organic combination between farming and stockbreeding.

During the symposium there was an exhibition of scientific and technological successes.
